HHH RESCUE MISSION
We serve abandoned, abused, neglected, unwanted or at risk equine (horses, donkeys, & mules) including those in the final hours of shipping to slaughter. We rescue and, determined by each individual animal's evaluation, execute a comprehensive treatment plan in a safe, caring, healing, and nurturing environment. Our goal is to place as many equine as possible in qualified forever homesand annually monitor each placement to ensure it continues to meet the needs of both horse and adopter. We ardently maintain under our care at Happy Horse Haven Rescue any animal ultimately determined not to be a candidate for adoption placement.

Happy Horse Haven Rescue is dedicated to providing horses with a comfortable and supportive environment while they heal physically, mentally and emotionally. We address each horse's specific challenge areas while showing respect, restoring trust, and instilling dignity & self-worth to dramatically improve their quality of life while preparing them for forever homes.
TYPES OF RESCUES
HAPPY HORSE HAVEN RESCUE welcomes as many equine in need as possible from a wide range of “at risk” origins. One such situation may be a current owner’s special circumstance. When a pre-qualified forever home can be secured, we may alternatively adopt out the horse, while safely monitored under our normal adoption follow-up. Regretfully, for a multitude of reasons, it may not be possible to accept a particular animal into the rescue, or help with its rehoming without all the necessary information to do so. All equine accepted, without exception, become 100% property of HHH from the date of the signed agreement.
